Creator of more than 30 pieces, his work can be recognized by his audacity and the usualness of the characters of his creations. I came to see a studio showing of ‘S’ recently, and without having heard what inspired Navas, I felt completely transported. Watching the piece felt like a meditation and I came out of it feeling that I had been washed by the movement and that left bouyant in its wake.
